The President’s Office of CUHK-Shenzhen, otherwise known as PO, organizes major events, coordinates internal collaboration and governmental relations, assists decision making, channels information, along with other efforts and initiatives conducive to the university’s development.

  • Organize university-level meetings, archive meeting documents, monitor the execution and development of decisions or strategies thereby reached.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental efforts under the instruction of university senior management.
  • Administer major events.
  • Work in close liaison with education-related departments of the government; coordinate the reception of delegations and visits from relevant quarters.
  • Draft critical documents; establish, revise, and terminate university policies and regulations.
  • Direct the management of government documents; receive and keep charge of confidential documents of the university.
  • Superintend the use of university seal; keep charge of university legal person certificate and organization code certificate.
  • Manage complaints and petitions concerning the university.
  • Oversee university security and respond to emergencies.
  • Other tasks instructed by university senior management.
