Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide secretarial services to Director and Associate Directors, including: meeting schedules, travel arrangements, signatures, reimbursement, preparation of relevant materials and documents etc.;
  2. Provide general support to committees in the center, including: committee establishment, committee meeting arrangements, memo releasement etc. Act as a liaison between the committees and faculty/staff effectively;
  3. Provide administrative support to research projects from initialization to completion;
  4. Provide general support to faculty members, including: assistance of recruitment, orientation, reimbursements, fee management and tracking etc.;
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. A bachelor’s degree or higher;
  2. At least 3 years full time administrative or relevant work experience;
  3. Strong service-oriented spirit and good communication skills;
  4. Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating strong initiative, resilience, and a proactive mindset;
  5. High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong familiarity with essential office software tools.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of Shenzhen Loop Area Institute, and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable to the PRC. The appointee will be based in Shenzhen, PRC.
