Supervisor (Procurement Project Management) - Purchasing Office (Ref. 2025/237/01)
Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage the centralized procurement activities of the University, oversee and guide the entire procurement process from procurement demand investigation to contract fulfillment, ensuring compliance and efficiency of the University's procurement activities.
2. Conduct pre-reviews of procurement demands so as to ensure that alignment with funding types, procurement procedures and relevant policy requirements; monitor the actual progress and duration of key milestones of procurement projects and issue timely alerts for any delayed stages.
3. Monitor the timeliness of contract signing and registration for procurement projects, and issue time alerts for any abnormal projects involving delayed contract signing or overdue delivery.
4. Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above.
2. At least 8 years of relevant experience in procurement management and project coordination in higher education, large-scale enterprises, public institutions or government-affiliated organizations.
3. Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing), capable of using English as the working language.
4. Demonstrated honesty and integrity with no adverse records of disciplinary actions or ethical violations in previous work.
5. Proven experience in procurement project management with strong service orientation.
6. Strong business negotiation skills, coupled with excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
