Executive Officer (Career Development) - Li Haizhou Project, School of Data Science (Ref.PR2025/190/01)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop new employer resources and maintain existing employer relationships, providing students with more high-quality internship and employment opportunities;
2. Collect and publish job information to offer students internship and employment opportunities;
3. Assist in organizing various career-empowering activities, such as corporate visits, industry lectures, mock interview competitions, and job-seeking workshops, to enhance students' employability and overall competitiveness;
4. Provide one-on-one career counseling for students to help them understand the job market trends, career development prospects, as well as their own strengths and weaknesses, and assist them in improving their career capabilities;
5. Help students optimize their resumes by offering professional advice tailored to different job requirements, thereby increasing the relevance and appeal of their resumes;
6. Handle administrative tasks such as stamping, distributing internship applications, employment recommendation letters, graduate registration forms, and documents related to civil service exams/political reviews, and manage public email information to help students advance through the employment process in a timely manner;
7. Provide administrative support for the MFE industry mentorship courses;
8. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 3 years of work experience. Candidates with experience in the financial industry, human resources recruitment, or university career guidance are preferred;
2. Proficient in the use of office software (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and basic poster design tools (Canva/PS). Possesses certain data analysis skills and strong written communication abilities;
3. Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with English as a working language. Capable of handling English emails and documents, and able to conduct student consultations in English;
4. Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively interact and collaborate with students, employers, and various departments within the university;
5. Team-oriented, while also able to work independently when necessary;
6. Familiar with the employment trends and talent demands in the financial industry. Knowledge of national employment policies and university career guidance procedures is preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
