LI Changsheng
Born in Changchun in 1949, Mr. LI moved to Japan at his own expense in 1988 and has been residing there ever since. He is known for his essays in Chinese publications, often jokingly calling himself a “Japan trader”.?His writing is thoughtful and meticulous. Notable works include the five-volume Changsheng’s Chats and the three-volume Selected Writings of Li Changsheng. He has also translated Japanese novels, such as The Twilight Samurai by Shuhei Fujisawa.
