Abstract:?
Glass is one of the greatest inventions in human history. As an amorphous material, it shaped Nobel-winning science and underpinned a multitude of groundbreaking innovations closely tied to the progress of human civilization.
The advent of glass has allowed humanity to explore both the macro world—celestial bodies and the cosmos—and the micro world—the structure of matter. It has facilitated effortless access to vast amounts of information and data, enabling intelligent interactions. Glass has also driven efficient photoelectric conversion, propelling the energy revolution, and empowered the exploration of unknown and mysterious realms such as the deep sea and outer space.
In the face of increasingly rapid technological and industrial transformations, strategic advancements in glass innovation have become ever more crucial. The future of glass will have more possibilities.
