Nine CUHK-Shenzhen undergraduate students have received admissions to the University of Oxford Visiting Student Program (VSP) for the Academic Year 2021-2022. They were respectively admitted to five colleges at Oxford, including Mansfield College, St Edmund Hall, St Peter's College, Regent's Park College and Pembroke College.

These Year 2 students will start their visiting studies in the UK in the 2021 Fall term. As the programme participants, they will study alongside Oxford’s full-time degree students and enjoy the same privileges and access to its university resources, including academic courses, tutorials and lectures, libraries and electronic databases, student clubs and other community and cultural activities, etc. Upon completing the programme, these candidates will become the life-long members of the admitted colleges and the alumni of the University of Oxford.

The Oxford VSP annually admits based on merits around 30 undergraduate students from Oxford’s 18 university partners in China. The number of students admitted from CUHK-Shenzhen this year has outranked all the other competing universities. Ever since 2018 when CUHK-Shenzhen became a partner of the University of Oxford, VSP has handed out admission offers to 20 CUHK-Shenzhen students of 13 different majors.
