Notification of proposals collection for NSFC Major Program of Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences 2021

The NSFC has initiated proposals collection for NSFC Major Program of Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences 2021. Details of requirements are as follows:
1、Eligibility of applicants
Applicant and co-applicants shall meet the following qualifications:
- Have senior academic title;
- Shall only submit (including as participant) one application;
- The total number of applicant and co-applicants shall not exceed 5.
2、Funding amount
The NSFC will fund a maximum of 20 million RMB (direct costs) for per project.
3、Main content of proposal
The proposal shall contain the following content:
- Project basis and necessity for implementation；
- Research content, object and key problems proposed to be resolved；
- Expected breakthrough；
- Research status and development trend analysis in domestic and abroad;
- List of applicant’s academic achievements and representative papers related to the content of the proposal;
- Please indicate the connections between the current application and other previous national program.
※Applicant shall first read the guide(Annex 1-Guide) carefully for more specific requirements.
4、Procedure of application
- Applicant shall fill out application form (Annex 2) in Chinese and send it to kevingao@cuhk.edu.cn by noon on Oct. 12, 2020.
- After review, applicant shall print (double-sided) one hard copy of application form which signed by all applicants (including co-applicants) and submit it to Room 406 of Administration Building by 15:00 on Oct. 14, 2020.
