This project explores the integration of podcasts as an innovative assessment tool in higher education. With the global podcast audience surpassing 584 million listeners. podcasts are increasingly relevant to young people and have demonstrated broad applicability in enhancing teaching and learning. Despite their benefits, students face challenges when podcasts are used as assessments, including concerns about equipment. unclear evaluation criteria, and a lack of podcasting experience.

To address these issues, the project will establish a professional podcast studio, develop a clear and data-driven podcast evaluation scale, and create a comprehensive training program to improve students’ podcasting skills. These initiatives aim to reduce uncertainty, boost confidence, and enhance the overall podcasting experience for students.

The project's outcomes will be rigorously assessed using established methods and expert feedback from internal and external stakeholders. Students will also play an active role in shaping the project by providing frequent input. More importantly, the project's results will be disseminated through workshops, academic articles, and conferences, making its tools and insights accessible to a wide range of educators and disciplines.
